Britain First lose supporters for sharing plane crash rumours

Sometimes, far-right hate groups are so keen in promoting themselves they pass rumors off as truth.

In recent news, a man has been suspected of deliberately crashing a Germanwings A320 plane in the French Alps and killed 150 people.

UK hate group Britain First was quick to pick up on the news and shared a link that suggested the pilot was a “convert to Islam”. In the post, Britain First wrote: “LET'S FACE FACTS: THE FREE WORLD IS AT WAR WITH JIHAD!”

Posted up on 27 March.

Britain First shares rumour to whip up hate

There is no evidence to suggest the man was a convert to Islam.

All that is being alleged is that the pilot required treatment for depression, and was recommended regular psychological assessment.

But the BBC also reports that prosecutors say there was no evidence of a political or religious motive for his actions and no suicide note has been found.

Fortunately, Britain First lost many supporters who knew something was wrong with the pathetic post.

Sources that have been circulating news that this man was supposedly a “convert to Islam” all seem to be anti-Muslim ones that are irrationally jumping to conclusions with no confirmations.

Britain First seem happy in sharing stories from the vile echo chamber to over 600,000 people just to further their political goals and scare the gullible.

EDL division shares fake Islamic scholar quote

We all know the English Defence League (EDL) is on its knees. Yet the dozen members who think high of themselves still update their unpopular Facebook pages to stir hate.

This week, we wrote about how hate group Britain First shared an image of an Islamic scholar named Dr Zakir Naik, which quoted him saying something he didn’t even say.

Well, the Yorkshire EDL Leeds Division has regurgitated that very same image to its followers!

The truth - The quote was never said

Dr Zakir Naik never said what is said in this image. An obvious Twitter troll using his name wrote it, but brainless hate sites picked it up and passed it off as the truth in an effort to ridicule Muslims.

The UK’s far-right network constantly proves itself stupid.

We cannot count the amount of posts on this blog that have exposed lies they have shared.

EDL also share plane crash rumours to pedal hate

After news emerged of a pilot bringing down a plane and killing 150 people, the Islamophobia network is doing its best to try and target Islam, by turning the co-pilot into a Muslim.

Facebook pages belonging to the English Defence League, the ‘Main London Page’ and the ‘Yorkshire Doncaster Division’ were among the many far-right pages that shared stories of the co-pilot Andreas Lubitz being a “convert to Islam”.

Hate group Britain First also shared the story, but the group came under scrutiny by its own supporters and lost a lot of respect.

No evidence yet to suggest Lubitz was a convert to Islam

All that is being alleged is that the pilot required treatment for depression, and was recommended regular psychological assessment.

The BBC also reported that prosecutors say there is no evidence of a political or religious motive for his actions.

Sources that were first to circulate rumours that Lubitz was supposedly a “convert to Islam” all seem to be anti-Muslim ones that are irrationally jumping to conclusions with no confirmations.

It is beyond disgusting how at the time of tragedy, these far-right hate groups are using the crash for their own political goals and spreading unconfirmed rumours they take as ‘news’.

What Britain First proved to us this week

It has been a tough week for Britain First, losing more respect from its own supporters and being exposed for the vile group they are.

One of our recent discoveries revealed that Britain First is continuing to use a murdered soldier Lee Rigby to promote its political goals, despite a plea from his mother.

The hate group has also been slandering Muslim men, fabricating stories about them while stealing images off newspapers and hiding the full stories.

We also had a look at the first issue of Britain First’s newspaper, and found that the group had shared ISIS propaganda. It believed in, and used propaganda shared by a terror group it claims to oppose.

It was done in a deliberate attempt to scare people about immigration and blame the government. It came as no surprise as Britain First are pro-UKIP.

We also documented how the group shared rumours that the pilot - Andreas Lubitz - who crashed the Germanwings plane was a “convert to Islam”.

There is currently no evidence to suggest Lubitz was a convert and all that has been said is that the pilot required treatment for depression, and was recommended psychological assessment.

The BBC also reported that prosecutors say there is no evidence of a political or religious motive for his actions.

Britain First was therefore passing off rumours as ‘facts’ and therefore, spreading false information.

Britain First leader turned up to cenotaph with knickers on head

Everyone who willingly or unwillingly shares any ‘Support Our Troops’ posts from Britain First should well know that the group isn’t all that it seems.

Paul Golding, the leader of the group once turned up to a Remembrance Sunday march at the cenotaph with a pair of women’s knickers on his head.

How respectful...

Source: politicalscrapbook.net

This was when he was in the racist National Front (NF) group, according to HOPE Not Hate. But in an interview to Channel 4, he said that someone else “had put them” on his head.

“Oh this was ages ago, it doesn’t matter anymore”

Well, Britain First recently disrespected the war dead by sharing a photo of a funeral of a WW2 veteran to whip up fears on immigration and Muslims.

They used the image of a funeral taking place of a 92-year-old veteran and community activist who had passed away. He served in the British Indian Army.

Britain First just don’t listen

Hate group Britain First and other far-right groups have been hijacking the name of a murdered soldier Lee Rigby just to promote their causes.

Even when the mother of Lee voiced outrage after Britain First were using his name to promote their party in the elections, Britain First never stopped. She also said Britain First has “no support from the family”.

Today, Britain First stole and then uploaded photos of a memorial which had been unveiled in memory of Lee in Middleton.

We have intentionally blurred faces.

They didn’t do this for respect.

Their main priority is to get Likes and Shares so people can share their stories and hereby, further their political goals. And they have done the same thing before.

If this group had an ounce of respect for the war dead, the leader would never have turned up to the cenotaph with knickers on his head, or the group would never have disrespected the funeral of a veteran who had died recently.

Britain First leader doesn’t turn up to debate

Far-right group Britain First makes it out to be a force to be reckoned with, when it well and truly isn’t as we have wrote about in this blog.

Picking on the elderly during their 'mosque invasions'.

Yesterday on 12 June, the Islamic Education and Research Academy (iERA) held a cross-panel debate entitled, “Does Islam Clash with British values?” where Tommy Robinson (former leader of the English Defence League), Paul Golding (Britain First) and Anne Marie Waters (ShariaWatch) were invited to speak on the panel.

According to 5Pillars, Golding informed iERA on Thursday evening that “upon further reflection, security considerations and other issues, I have decided to decline the attendance.”

When assured by iERA that three security guards would be allocated to Golding upon entering and exiting the venue, he said “unfortunately it’s a leadership decision” - even though Golding is supposed to be the leader.

Robinson did not turn up to the event, and Waters did turn up to the event but did not participate in the debate.

Event coordinator for iERA, Mohammed Hussain, told 5Pillars that Robinson and Golding were “last resort” after exhausting every other option to get more “mainstream” intellectuals or academics on the panel to discuss Islam and British values.

He also said: “The Quilliam Foundation, the Henry Jackson Society, Sam Westrop from Gatestone Institute, the National Secular Society, British Muslims for Secular Democracy, the British Humanist Association, Melanie Phillips, David Starkey, Yasmin Ali-Bhai Brown, Richard Littlejohn, Andrew Gilligan, David Aaronovitch are just some of the individuals and organisations who iERA personally invited, but were either unavailable, declined to participate or did not reply.”

Britain First caught ‘Liking’ dynamiting mosque status

Hate group Britain First says in its Mission Statement: “We will make Britain a beautiful country once again…”

Britain First can sugarcoat itself all it wants, nothing will hide the fact that it is a dangerous group.

In this video, Britain First was caught ‘Liking’ a status left by a supporter suggesting someone, or some people, to ‘dynamite the hell’ out of a mosque.

Britain First affiliate shares fake image again

Just last month we caught Britain First attributing a quote to Russian President Vladimir Putin which he never even said. As shameful as it is, Britain First have yet again recycled the image.

Knights Templar International, which Britain First has close ties to and openly advertises on its website, posted up an image that quoted Vladimir Putin.

No proof of quote ever being said

According to Hoax-Slayer, this is part of a viral hoax that claims in a 2013 speech to the Duma, Putin advised Russian minorities that they should adapt to Russian culture if they wish to live in the country.

However, there is NO RECORD of Putin making such a speech nor are there any credible news reports about Putin’s supposed words.

This is yet again another reason why Britain First cannot be trusted.

Note: This Knights Templar International group, which is associated with Britain First, is not linked to the REAL Knights Templar.

Britain First featured on nonsense website

Far-right hate group Britain First is nonsense, but did you know it has even been featured on a site which highlights nonsense from around the web?

ThatsNonsense.com, which aims to debunk hoaxes, rumours, as well as Internet and email scams, has featured Britain First at least twice.

In 2014, the site noted how important it was for people to check their sources.

Speaking of Britain First’s Facebook page, it said that the page “posts a consistent stream of hypocrisy, misinformation, urban legends and outright lies.”

It also said that “in the same way as Like-Farming pages exploit social media users to gain followers, Britain First continually post – amongst the hate-filled bigotry and misinformation – a series of wholly irrelevant information that is designed purely to accumulate Likes, Comments and Shares.”

In 2015, the site featured Britain First after they photoshopped an image aimed at inciting racial hatred.

An image showed a Muslim holding a sign that said “Boycott Bigotry and kill all non-Muslims” and was shared over 600 times by Britain First supporters and the gullible.

In reality, the image was of a war veteran who was holding up a sign that said “Boycott Bigotry”.

ThatsNonsense.com rightly pointed out that “radical groups like Britain First are not a reliable source of truth, which is why it is important on social media that you fact-check your sources before hitting share, if not for any reason than to avoid embarrassment when you find out you’ve shared information with your friends that simply isn’t true.”

Britain First get patches made in Pakistan

Britain First might lose many supporters after they find out that their embroidered badges are actually made by a company in Pakistan.

Someone asked the company whether they make the Britain First patch and someone from the company confirmed “Yes price is GBP 2.00 only”.

From IRBF Hate Page Awareness and Reporting

The company’s website also states it is based in Sialkot, Pakistan.

Coincidentally, the company even promoted itself last year by sharing a photo of Britain First. And deputy leader Jayda Fransen can be seen in the background.

Britain First share bikini ban image to stir hate

Britain First deliberately attempt to stir up hate and get some Likes on their page (as well as other secret pages that belong to them).

On 24 June 2015, they shared an image showing two seemingly Muslim teens holding up a flag that said “Respect Ramadan No Bikinis”.

Britain First wrote in the caption “How about respect the West! Don’t like it, go back to an Islamic country.”

Photo wasn't taken in the West

This image wasn’t even taken in the West. Two teenagers took this photo in the Muslim-majority country of Morocco. And authorities took this poster down soon after.

Moroccan Minister of Tourism Lahcen Haddad was quoted by Moroccan news website Le360 saying: “We cannot allow people on their own to begin to dictate their law. Nobody has the right to set themselves up as guarantors of virtue, and still less to tell tourists how they should dress on a beach.”

Britain First offer condolences for some of the dead

The three attacks in France, Tunisia and Kuwait shocked the world yesterday.

And of course, far-right group Britain First attempted to cash in on the news by sharing news links and even a video of deputy leader Jayda Fransen expressing condolences.

Screengrab from Britain First/Facebook.

The caption along with the video mentioned the attacks in Tunisia and France, but absolutely nothing about the attack in Kuwait – when innocent Muslims were killed whilst praying in a mosque. Over 100 people were also injured.

Even in the video no mention was made to Kuwait.

Maybe because Muslims were the victims?

Proof Britain First has little respect for Armed Forces

Far-right group Britain First have already photoshopped a Navy veteran to spread hate and the leader once turned up to the Cenotaph with knickers on his head.

In the latest post, they compared their two leaders appearing in court with D Day.

It is sickening to even compare.

Over 425,000 Allied and German troops were killed, wounded or went missing during the Battle of Normandy.

This figure includes over 209,000 Allied casualties, with nearly 37,000 dead amongst the ground forces and a further 16,714 deaths amongst the Allied air forces.

Britain First couldn’t even gather 1 per cent of ‘supporters’

Far-right Britain First claimed 2,000 supporters would descend into Luton on 27 June. But according to press and eye-witnesses, no more than 150 supporters turned up. And even that was believed to be an over-estimation by one journalist.

If we calculate this figure as a percentage of the current 776,703 ‘Likes’ on the Facebook page of Britain First, then it’s 0.019%.

This isn’t even 1%.

Let’s face it, Britain First is a poor excuse of a party, and was never wanted in Luton in the first place.

Britain First leader urges young followers to ‘produce’

Not too many Britain First supporters came into Luton on 27 June.

In a video taken of a speech yesterday, Britain First leader Paul Golding was caught urging his younger supporters to produce the ‘next generation’.

Talking of immigrants and Muslims (who Britain First have been accused of scapegoating), Golding said they “have a very high birth rate, whereas our people prefer to go out and get drunk, and to have careers etc etc but we’ve lost that touch…we need to produce the next generation.”

He later said: “I’m looking specifically at the young men here and the young women because you’ve got to get out there and you’ve got to produce the next generation of our people!”

People in the crowd started laughing throughout his speech, in which he used words like ‘our people’ and ‘DNA’.

The video has been uploaded on Vimeo and is titled “White Supremacy speech”. You can watch it here.

Did you know Britain First was once reported by a veteran who claimed they were involved in a Help for Heroes scam?

Did you know a Navy veteran reported them for defamation? Or what about when the leader once turned up to the Cenotaph with knickers on his head?

When Britain First came to Luton on 27 June, they were not wanted and not even by the veterans who turned up to oppose them.

Below is a photo taken of the veterans who called Britain First leader Paul Golding a ‘coward’ and said Britain First are ‘ripping off military charities, disrespecting veterans and too scared to answer our questions!’

Lionheart GB tries to cash in on Tunisia shooting tragedy

Many far-right UK groups have a habit of hijacking tragic events.

Lionheart GB, which has been accused by critics of being tied in with far-right group Britain First, were caught trying to make money through the recent terror attack in Tunisia.

A day after the shooting, they shared an image that offered thoughts for the families and friends of those who were killed. But in the text was a link which directed people straight to the ‘Patriot Store’, an online store which sells t-shirts, badges and other merchandise.

This is the page people are directed to when they click on the link in the post.

A shop. Lionheart GB has exploited the deaths of innocents for financial gain.

Coincidentally, the Knights Templar International group also shared this post with the same text and the same link to the shop.

To all those who don’t know, this is the same group Britain First is promoting on its website and getting people to join. It is believed Britain First run this page too.

Britain First protest cost taxpayers nearly £300000

The Bedfordshire News has reported that the Britain First march that took place in Luton cost nearly £300,000. And the local taxpayer will be having to pay the bill.

The protest was attended by 500 police officers from 15 different forces and the protest had a large impact on businesses.

The Mall shopping centre, which is Luton’s central retail area, recorded a reduction in footfall of approximately 22%, about 16,000 shoppers down, compared to that typically expected for this time of year.

PCC Olly Martins said: “Whilst in the past these costs have eventually been reimbursed, it is anticipated that they will now fall directly upon Bedfordshire taxpayers alone.”

Marches in Luton by the English Defence League, and now Britain First, have cost £3.5m in the last five years.

Britain First, which is continuing to ask for your donations, will probably not want this news to be shared.

Another Britain First affiliate page shares ISIS propaganda

It was not long ago when we caught far-right group Britain First scaring people by passing off ISIS propaganda as truth for their anti-immigration and anti-Islam views.

Now they’ve shared the same image onto their affiliate page ‘English and Proud’.

As we noted before, the Independent said the plans were ISIS propaganda. The researcher who brought this into light even said that the propaganda “could not be taken as fact”.

Coincidentally, Britain First published the same untrue information in their rag of a newspaper and did not state anywhere in the column what the researcher said.

Without a care in the world, Britain First is sharing exactly what ISIS terrorists are wanting people to believe.
